To Kumano Hongu.
It is possible for you to go to Kumano Hongu while you stay with us.

Take the local bus from Jugemu to Nachi station then from Nachi station to Shingū station. As you exit Shingu station cross the road to the information/bus station where they display times, bus numbers and you can also buy tickets for Kumano Hongu bus transfers.

When in the Kumano Hongu area there is much to see, the grand shrine Hongu Taisha Mae and the large Tori gate. It is also possible to take a Kumano route to yumino Onsen to experience. This takes about 2hrs one way and the information centre can help you with trail maps.
To visit Kawayu there is a paved roadside path that takes you through 2 vechile tunnels and takes roughly one hour there. There are also buses that run to and from Kawayu from the information centre so you may to the option to walk there and then return by bus.

There are also many buses that leave for Shingu so if you are ready to leave area early this is possible however with current information the latest bus you can take is 51 at 14.45pm from the information back to Shingu for transferring back to either Nachi station or Kii-Katsuura for the last village bus at 17.44pm.

To Nachi-San

Local bus to Iseki-chuzaisho mae wait for bus 31 to take you in the direction of Nachi falls. You can ride the bus all the way to Nachi falls if you are limited on time but highly recommend you get off at Daimonzaka to walk part of the pilgrimage trail.

Once you arrive at Nachisan you can wander the village explore the temples and the beautiful Nachi falls. To return to Jugemu you can take a return bus from the top bus stop, bus back to Iseki-chuzaisho mae or I decided to take the bus back to Nachi station to meet the local bus.
